The treatment of certain more pervasive mental conditions is part of my practice, while the treatment of other severe mental illnesses is not. Among the pervasive mental conditions that are part of my practice: mild, non-impairing symptoms of diagnosed Autism Spectrum Disorder in adults (18+), mild, non-impairing symptoms of diagnosed intellectual and developmental disabilities in adults (18+), symptoms of diagnosed mild cognitive impairment in adults (18+). The severe mental illnesses for which I will refer to a specialist are: diagnosed childhood-onset autism, moderate to severe diagnosed adult autism, diagnosed schizophrenia, diagnosed persistent psychotic disorders, diagnosed schizoaffective disorder, diagnosed pervasive developmental disorder, diagnosed bulimia nervosa, and diagnosed anorexia nervosa, as well as all diagnosed, serious mental health conditions that first appear in childhood (up to age 17) and continue into adulthood.
